Where is Pink Panther's Hostel Krakow located?

Pink Panther's Hostel is located in the very centre of Krakow’s Old Town right off the Main Market Square on St Tomasza Street no 8 on the 2nd floor of a beautiful 600 year old building.

What are the check in/out times?

CHECK-IN time: 14:00

CHECK-OUT time: 10:00

What methods of payment are accepted?

On arrival you can pay in cash in PLN (Polish zloty) or by credit card.

Is there a quiet time?

Yes, there is a quiet time at Pink Panther’s Hostel.

Is there a lockout at Pink Panther's?

No, there is no lock-out at Pink Panther's Hostel.

What is included in the price for a night?

Free continental breakfast, free internet access on computers and WiFi , free linen, free lockers, free coffee and tea round-the-clock, free Pink Panther's Hostel Events.

Is there a secure storage room in the hostel?

Yes, there is a storage room in the hostel and you can leave you bags there till late free of charge (22:00) on a check out day.

Are there lockers available in the hostel?

Yes, there are lockers in the rooms. If you do not have your own padlock you can buy it from us for 20 PLN.

Are linen and towels provided?

We provide linen for all rooms free of charge. Towels are only available free of charge in twin private rooms. If you are staying in a dormitory room you can rent a towel for the whole time of your stay for a small charge of 5 PLN (approx. 1 Euro).

Are there laundry facilities available at the hostel?

No, but there is laundromat 20 min away from the hostel called Frania Cafe where you can do your laundry while drinking coffee and browsing the internet. There’s also Pepe Pralnia 10 minute walking distance.

What languages do we speak at Pink Panther’s Hostel?

English, Polish, un poco de Espańol :P and gesture language ;).

How do I get to Pink Panther’s Hostel from the Main Train Station?

We are located very near the Main Market Square so if you ever lose directions just ask anyone how you can get to Rynek Głowny ( The Main Square). Once you have reached there find Sławkowska Street , walk down this street then take the first street on the left and the property will be on your right.
From Main Train Station: Go through the shopping mall ( Galeria Krakowska), go out of the shopping through the main entrance, which is next to Zara shop then walk through the underground passage which will lead you to the old town, go straight on ( you will pass the big theatre building on your left ) once you have reached Pijarska street turn left and go down Florianska street then take the second street on the right which is Św. Tomasza and walk down - the property will be on your right.



How do I get from Krakow Balice airport to the city centre?

Taxi - costs around 80 pln (20 Euros) taxis leave from just outside the main doors of the airport. Transfer time approx 20 mins. This is the easiest way.

Bus – cost 4 PLN (approx 01 Euro). Bus 292 is best to get to the city centre. It stops next to the Main Train Station (stop called "Dworzec Główny Wschód"). Travel time is approx 40 mins. You can also take bus 208 which will lead you to Politechnika stop which is very close to the Main Train Station. Ticket can be bought inside a bus where you can find ticket machines. How do I get from Katowice Airport to Krakow?

If you are arriving at Katowice airport via Wizz Air, there is a bus service laid on by the airline that meets each arriving flight. You can either book tickets in advance through Wizz Air, which is 44 PLN or normally they will allow you to buy a ticket on boarding the bus. The price is 50 PLN.

How long does it take to get from the airport to Krakow's city centre?

If you fly into Krakow's closest airport, Balice, it will only take 20 mins by taxi or 40 mins by bus. For Katowice, allow approx 1.5 hours for the wizz air shuttle bus or under an hour by car.

What happens if I accidentally damage the hostel?

Pink Panther's Hostel in Krakow will charge for any major damage to the property or the breakage of any significant items during your visit. Charges will be made in a fair manner to put right the damage, or to replace the broken object. Charges will be made to your credit card if you have booked using one.

How do I cancel my booking and are there any charges associated with cancellations?

What happens if I lose a key to the room?

A fixed amount of 20 PLN (approx 5 Euros) will be charged for every key to cover the cost of their replacement. This will be deducted from the key deposit.

What happens if I forget about check out time?

If you do not leave your room before 10 at Pink Panther’s Hostel your credit card will be charged for the price of next night stay.

Can I smoke in the hostel?

Smoking in the rooms and common area is not allowed, however, we have nice smoking areas on both of our balconies. There’s a penalty of 100 PLN for smoking in the restricted areas.

Can I bring a pet?

No, sorry. Unfortunately, we do not accept animals in the hostel since there may turn out that quite a few travelers are allergic to them.

Where can I park my car?

There are paid and free of charge areas (see map attached below)
Paid parking zones:
The entrance to the parking zone is marked with D-44 signs. It’s 3 PLN per hour, it’s 3,5 PLN per another extra hour. It’s obligatory to pay between 10:00 – 20:00 Monday to Friday. Weekends are free of charge.
